  19. which are portable beyond AmigaOS, different modules perhaps being
  20. written in different languages. It makes writing Amiga-specific
  21. low-level modules easier if you can literally always get ExecBase and
  22. need not create a convention to pass it all the way down from the
  23. startup-code to the lowest-level module.
